Johan Haugen b. 1968 painter, performance artist and artfilm director. Works with abstract oil paintings focusing on organic matter and movement in body, plants, air and water with a non-discriminating and non-intellectual approach. The process of daily work snapshots becomes a destillatet expression, an organic mantra of a long space of time.

Johan Haugen is one of 2 directors of the arthouse /experimental films Precious Balance Walk and Earth Love by the intuitive art project I Still Live In Water, (Felicia Konrad/Johan Haugen). Both films are nominated, selected and have won prices in several international filmfestivals around the globe.
